Our thanks to the Vimee and the MMH Team for the links
and a well organised event and meal.

On Saturday, 18 April 2026 the Order of the Red Cross of Constantine held a family church
service at the magnificent Liverpool Cathedral, an imposing building of red sandstone
providing a breathtaking backdrop for this very special occasion.

It is ten years since the last Cathedral service held by the Order in 2015 and it was well
worth the wait.

Well over three hundred members of the order and their friends and families made up the
congregation with a full attendance of Intendants General and their Divisional Standards
processing the full length of the cathedral to place their standards in the East for the service.
The attendance of the Grand Sepulchre Guard providing added grandeur.

Readings by the Grand Sovereign and Deputy Grand Sovereign and the participation of our
Grand High Prelate and Grand Eusebius ensured that we were fully integrated into the
service at all levels.

A host of hymns including “To be a Pilgrim” and a wonderful Choir and awe-inspiring music
from the Cathedral organist were highlights of the day.

An excellent lunch followed at Anfield Stadium with only minimal mention of football in the
toasts.

My thanks must go to all the staff at the Cathedral and at Anfield as well as our own MMH
team who all contributed to a most wonderful day of Masonic and Christian fellowship and
one to be remembered by all those who attended.
